80th Anniversary

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Tennessee State Parks, we’ve created a unique and helpful guide just for you.

80 Adventures to Celebrate 80 Years showcases 80 of our favorite outdoor adventures, making it easy to explore our natural, cultural and historic heritage. Where will your next adventure begin?

Located on the Tims Ford Reservoir, the 1,321-acre Tims Ford State park sits in the shadows of the Cumberland Plateau in south-central Tennessee. The Tims Ford Lake is considered one of the most picturesque lakes in Tennessee and is regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational lakes in the Southeast.

The Lake View Marina, located within the park, provides pontoon boat rentals as well as a boat launch and courtesy dock. The marina also includes a snack bar, bait shop and fish-cleaning area. There is also a small inventory of canoes and kayaks available for rent.

Tims Ford State Park offers multiple lodging opportunities. The park has 20 beautiful cabins situated on the wooded slopes of Tims Ford Lake. The cabins are completely equipped, including appliances, cooking and serving utensils and linens. The park has two campgrounds for tent or RV campers. In addition, with a permit from the park office, tent campers may camp on any of the six islands on the lake or at our Turkey Creek area.

Another popular activity is golfing. The park is home to the Bear Trace at Tims Ford which is part of the Jack Nicklaus-designed collection. The Tims Ford reservoir is visible from most holes on the course and comes into play on several of the 18 holes, giving the course an excellent balance of challenge and playability.

Tennessee Boat Lifts by Econo Lifts

Made in America for the Past 30 Years

After visiting the area numerous times in the 70’s and early 80’s for vacation purposes, Bill and Joyce Robinson decided it was time for a change. In 1984 they left their farming community in Iowa, moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, and purchased Econo-Lift Boat Hoist.  The business started in a small garage in Linn Creek, Missouri.

Eventually Econo-Lift outgrew the space and moved to its current location during Memorial Day weekend of 1988. Their son Steve and daughter Diane joined the company in 1986. Currently the company has grown to employ anywhere from 18-25 employees.  Econo-Lift has been a family owned business (3rd generation) for 32 years now. We are one of the few companies at the Lake of the Ozarks that service our own products, so you know you can contact us any time you have a problem or issue. All of our repairs/servicemen are employed by Econo Lift.

Fate Sanders Marina Smyrna TN

All moving parts are riding on a bushing made of ultra high molecular weight (UMHW) plastic for superior wear and durability.

All of our lifts include a safety valve for added security when you are away from your boat.

All of our tanks are rotationally molded. This means there are no seams or welds in our tanks. They are one solid piece straight out of the mold.

We carry a lifetime warranty on all of our polyethylene tanks.

All of our tanks are 100% virgin plastic with no added dyes, pigments, or chemicals, guaranteeing the durability of your tank for years to come. Many other tanks are reground/recycled which can mean their structure is less stable, but not ours!

All units come with a GFCI for your safety. Manufactured USA only steel.
